Most days, we are available to answer calls/emails/Facebook messages Monday-Friday between 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Saturday between 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Our physical location is by appointment only, so please contact us if you wish to drop off or pickup shocks from Doug Schiltz Motorsports.

We’re located in Pataskala, OH, but service shocks all over the United States. Ship your shocks to us, we’ll service them and get them back to you as quickly as possible — usually within a week.

Our location is by appointment only, so please get in touch with us if you wish to drop off or pick up shocks.

Motowoz steering dampers can be purchased directly from Doug Schiltz Motorsports. Steering dampers start at $479.

Yes, as a factory-authorized location we can custom order and setup Motowoz shocks to be the best setup for you.

Service

How much is it to service my shocks?2020-12-27T00:14:05-05:00

Service starts at $75 per shock. Includes standard service and nitrogen charge. Red Line oil, seals and additional parts billed separately.

What do I need to send with my shocks for service?2020-12-27T00:22:48-05:00

Print/ship the service form or fill it out online. This will allow your shocks to be setup specifically for your needs. Be sure to clean your shocks and package them securely. We recommend shipping UPS.

Why should shocks be rebuilt on a regular basis?2020-12-27T00:23:12-05:00

When a shock compresses, it produces heat. This causes the oil and seals that are inside the shock to break down, which negatively affects the shock’s performance. Make sure your shocks are working the best they can by getting them serviced regularly.

Yes, please get in touch with us to setup a time to drop off your shocks if you choose not to ship them.

Most shocks will be serviced in less than a week, but it’s best to check with us before sending if you’re in need of them immediately.

We service several brands of ATV, side-by-side and snowmobile shocks: Motowoz, Elka, PEP, Custom Axis and Fox.

How often should I service my shocks?2020-12-27T00:25:58-05:00

It depends on the amount of use your shocks are getting. For the average ATV or snowmobile racer, it’s recommended to have your shocks serviced at least once, if not twice a year.

How should I package my shocks for shipping?2020-12-27T00:26:46-05:00

Be sure each shock is clean (no mud) or you will be charged a cleaning fee. Wrap each shock individually using lots of newspaper or bubble wrap. Ensure that the shocks cannot move or shake within the box. If they do, add more packing, like newspaper or bubble wrap. Tape the box securely. We recommend shipping with UPS. Do NOT ship them signature required.
